I don't know how many of you know this, but the British Museum is free to go in, and its huge with lots of cool stuff to see. There are donation stations through out, so if you have some change, drop it in if you think the experience was worth it.

Take the Tube to Tottenham Court Rd, and you'll be there.

Another free thing to do in London is to relax in Hyde Park, after a stressfull week of adventure, chill'axn under a tree for a rest is not a bad idea, and again...NO CHARGE!!!! You can even catch they guys that rant about anything on the soapbox on Sundays!!!!

Admission to the Tate Modern is also free. Donations are welcomed if you're able to. It's very close to the Globe on the south side of the Thames. It's recognizable by the large tower/chimney that (if i remember correctly) has a neon blue light at night.

speakers corner is also free. i think its hyde park, but just ask someone all londoners know about this place. its a great experience, just remember to bring a large bottle of water, because chances are your gonna run across some schmuck who you really can't stand and your gonna want to scream louder then him, which is not possible on a dry throat.

I think that was one of the best things I did in Europe that was free. Little did I know I would remember it so well because I happen to be IN the museum when the 9/11 attack hit, with a couple of muslims by the way.
