I was planning on 2 nights in Brussels and 2 in Bruges. Is that enough and should I be seeing any other cities while I'm there?

I have not been to Belgium...Yet. But it will be the first country on the main land that I visit.....I take the Eurostar from London to Brussels....I plan on spending about 3-4 days in both Brussels and Brugges.......Um, as far as other cities in Belgium go my guidebook suggest Antwerp, north of Brussels....Also Lueven is a college town about a half hour East of Brussels that looks decent if you are into the party scene. Good luck, when ya' going?

Going over in July. Went to Brussels once before, but don't remember much of the city. Just wanna make sure that 4 days in Belgium is a good number.

I think it probably is...I spent a day in Brussels and felt that any more time would have been unnecessary. It was just enough time to walk around, eat frites, chocolate and waffles and drink a few really good beers while watching the tourists flock around le petit pis!

I reckon that thats an ok amount of time, but I do suggest Antwerp. My uncle owns a restaurnt there, never been, but he loves the place. So, it must have something going for it!
Belgium is a cool place, great for food and drink!

If you're into history, the battlefield of Waterloo is real close to Brussels. I took a bus there and back for a day trip.
