Default 6 week western europe tour advice

Well I am back again for more advice my trip was postponed but now is finally going to happen!!
I am looking at traveling western europe for around 6 weeks from middle of april until end of may. I have cut down my initial plan by a few cities in order to make it more managable and enjoyable hopefully.
Here is what it looks like now

Day 1-3: London
Day 4-8: Paris (daytrip to Caen)
Day 9-11: Nice
Day 12-14: Milan (this is one thing i am questioning not sure if it would be better spent elsewhere possibly cinque terre any suggestions??? Just have heard mixed things on Milan)
Day 15-18: Rome
Day 19-20: Florence
Day 21-23: Venice
Day 24-25: Vienna
Day 26-29: Munich
Day 30-32: Berlin
Day 33-36: Amsterdam
Day 37-39: Bruges
Day 40-42: London (not really 6 full days with travelling and such)

I am really open to any suggestions about the itinerary, must see places in those cities or must do day trips as well as any good hostels!!!!
Thanks for all the help.
Cheers!

I can only help you with amsterdam and brugge, but both of those cities are like Disneyland for adults!

Your schedule looks very doable, I would just suggest being flexible, you might want to stay an extra day somewhere along the way so don't feel like you have to keep to a schedule or something.

In London so you know most of the museums during the summer do not charge admission, I'm not sure about April and May but if you are a history buff like me it is worth checking out. Also if you like theatre the Globe has 5 pound tickets, which rock.

In Rome I would suggest Camping village Roma, they rent beds in 3-person bungalows as well as cabins and tents and are one of the cheapest places to stay in Rome. They are a little out of the way (about 45 mins from the train station) but are tied for as one of my favorite places I stayed in Europe. My other favorite was in Munich, Wombats hostel. It is about a 3 minute walk from the train station and has great facilities and a nice vibe, as well as a free tour of the city.

Have a great trip!

It sounds like you have a great trip planned, with enough time to see most of the cities! And April and May are great times to travel since the weather is getting quite nice in most places.

For your Milan/Cinque Terre dilemma, I did both and I think they are both amazing places to go. If you want to do some hiking at all during your adventures, I would suggest Cinque Terre. But at the same time, things are not open as late there. It's got a cozy village feel, but the food/drink are exceptional. When I went I remember it was difficult to find hostels actually located in one of the 5 villages, and the one we did get to had a curfew. But it was totally worth it for the views, and finding isolated swimming spots (at the same time, there are crazy ridiculous tourist beaches which I suggest you avoid at all costs. It is a nice place if you want to stop looking a Cathedrals and museums; instead you will enjoy lovely terraced vineyards and little towns along rocky cliffs, with very nice natural beauty. Milan: good for history, but overpriced and filled with tourists. Check out the weather averages for Cinque Terre before you decide to go though, cause lots of rain would not be fun for small, disconnected villages

I highly agree with staying flexible!
There is nothing better than being able to go out on a whim and go somewhere you never thought you would go in your original plans.
I was in Europe for 3 months and didnt make it to Italy. and it was still the best trip ever. Have fun with it!

You might be able to get away with 2 days in Brugge because it is a small and easily navagable city. However, it is really, really beautiful.
