Default Cinque Terre

I'm thinking of adding Cinque Terre to my trip this summer, everything I've read makes it seem like a must see. We'd probably only be there for 2-3 days, but does anyone have any recommendations (especially on where to stay, I'm traveling with a group of 6 guys)?

I would read up on the different towns, pick one you'd like to stay at (I chose Riomaggiore for instance) and roll into town on the morning train. As you walk around you'll see tons of signs that say "Rooms/Accommodations" - just go into any booking agency and tell then how many beds you need and anything else. They'll show you some choices and then you can negotiate over price. Its real simple and the best way to get a deal.

I've been twice. Love the sights, love the food, LOVE the Limoncello.

I stayed in Riomaggiore as well, but booked through HostelWorld.

The room was nice enough, and cost less than 20.00 a night.

We stayed in a hostel as well, about 20 euro a night, also in Rio Maggiore. Its a nice, laid-back place, definitely do the hike to all of the towns and if you see a sign that says "free beach", you'll get more than just a free beach...

Ah, you're not missing much, just the sign, nothing from the actual beach if you know what I mean!
