Can we still get mushrooms in Holland?
So ummm . . . . not that I'd take them or anything . . . but strictly for educational purposes, can we still get mushrooms in Holland? They became illegal on December 1st, but is it being enforced? Is it still possible to whisper the right words and get them (from not-so-shady places)? There must be a way. Up until a couple years ago, we were still getting them in Germany at skate and snowboard shops, so come on, how do I do it in Holland?
I'm in Luxembourg for the weekend, and thinking about taking a road trip up to Holland if this educational visit is still possible.

The major of Amsterdam doesn't want it to happen so I'd say there's a good chance of finding them. I've read some guys where planing to sell them in protest.

Is this all mushrooms, or just dried ones? I have heard both.

Well you can buy cocaine easily there and that's never been legal.
I'd say you shouldn't have to much trouble tracking down some mushrooms.

The shops won't be selling them, but they are still allowed to sell Philosphers Stones (Truffles with a kick). These are not covered under the law. The shops in the past could only sell mushrooms wet, so beware of anything dry on the steets, and honestly I wouldn't trust a Charlie Boy when it comes to psychadelics....
Theres a ton of info on this on the Channels, Amsterdam boards Amsterdam Forum Message Index
If ya do, head to Vondel Park and kick back. Its the perfect place.
Cheers

Well I'm back in the States now, didn't end up going to Holland because all the headshops I asked around at in Luxembourg said it'd be a waste of gas. They said they're still legal in Austria, didn't know that.
Damn, I wish I'd known that the philosopher stones weren't covered under this law, those things are great, same thing as shrooms. But thanks for the info folks, I'll be living in Germany again starting in September and I'll definitely be heading back over the Holland.
