Hi! After a week of surfing the web looking for info about my trip to Europe I found this site. It looks like a really great site and I’ll glad I found it.
I'm going to London on Tuesday and have to find some way to get to Glasgow within a week. I’m flying from there to Dublin. So just wanted to get some tips from you on how to get to Glasgow... train? bus? hitchhiking??? And which cities I should visit on my way.
Thanx for your help

To the Boards Zen!!!! Glad you have found us!!!!

London to Glasgow huh???

Well lets see flights with in the UK can be very cheap, if you are not terribly picky on the dates you wanna, so cheap in fact, some flights are free, and you any have to pay the tax...So search through these links

BMI Baby

Ryan Air

Easy Jet

You can arrange your train ticket at this link National rail UK, check the fares and schedule as well...I looked up your trip from London to Glasgow..... You might wanna look into that one further... This train trip looks to be in the area of 5 -61/2 hours

Bus..next to hitchhiking, it will be your cheapest and longest way to get there at 8 -10 hours...looks to be in the area of 30P -40P...

I was in Europe a month and half ago, and used Easy Jet, 40P to fly from Glasgow to Belfast...but I met a girl who paid 4P to fly from Dublin to Edinburgh...so DO YYOUR RESEARCH...the deals are there you just have to find them!!!
