Well, the trip to Malta is dead. After purchasing those wonderful $100 each way tickets on Virgin Atlantic to London, I was sure I could find a cheap ticket to Malta. Nope. I swear it was a day or so after I bought that I noticed all London-Malta flights jump up by about 50 UK pounds!

So, what to do, what to do? After weeks of checking every el cheapo, travel agent and air carrier website I could, I gave up. So, I went to Easyjet Airlineeasyjet's (kind of the Southwest Airlines of Europe) website and checked out their destinations. Lo, and behold, they had a reasonable price to Barcelona, which I missed in my week in Spain. Plus, there is bus service from Barcelona to Andorra -- that tiny principality tucked up in the Pyrennes. I've wanted to go there ever since I saw a poster on it in a travel agent's window.

So, there you have it -- another worldwidemike, last-minute change of destination. I'm going to Barcelona and Andorra in March! My ticket on easyjet cost only 60 UK pounds, so I'm set! Now, to return the Malta guidebooks to the library and check out Spain ones!

That's what I looooove about travelling. It;s so spontaneous and every place in this world is just as exciting as the rest. So if your plans change it doesn;'t mean disappointment at all. How long are u going for this time mike?

Unfortunately, another short trip. I leave Monday, March 15 ("Caesar, beware the Ides of March") and return the following Sunday. I'm thinking about two nights in Andorra, the rest in Barcelona.

One of these days, Dio, we'll be going the same direction...!
