Reykjavik City Hostel, Iceland
We are now booked for the 3rd and 4th of July!!! I must agree with all that Iceland is crazy expensive. Our rate for a 6 bed mixed dorm was $45 each per night. And that is honestly the cheapest in the city (countless hours searching last night). Reviews look cool so game on.
We are so far going to the Blue Lagoon, and taking a viking horseback tour on the glaciers. Also going to soooooooo see the Northern Lights. ALWAYS wanted to see what they look like in person.
I am still so tripping that we planned this trip 10 months ago, and just 2 days ago, Iceland gets added

That sounds incredible, I'll look forward to hearing more about the place. I don't think there's any way to hang out cheap in Iceland, but a couple of days shouldn't do too much damage. Have a great time!

We are expecting a review :D
Iceland has horses that do not exist anywhere else. It is such an odd looking place, I have to make it there one day (maybe in 09)

A review is most definate!!! The horseback tour is very exciting. We are finding ourselves a bit worried about the cold weather. Highs in the 50's in July, plus its the last leg of out trip, and damn if I want to carry cold weather clothing in my pack for a month before we get there. Hoping to be able to rent winter jackets etc...

Btw as far as winter clothing goes, Iceland is famous for its sweaters.
So you may want to pack light and just snag something there.

Congratulations on organising a trip to such a different and isolated place! I envy you and look forward to your review - I have heard the Blue Lagoon is amazing.
