Pamplona accomodations
Just recently my travel mate and I realized that we will be able to attend the San Fermin festival. However, as expected, there is literally only 1 accomodation option we can find in Pamplona @155 Euros a night...not fun. I have read a bunch on the festival here, but am looking for some insider info as to where you all may think we could stay. Options a bit out of town?
Thank you so much.
Matt

hmm, can not seem to find the edit button on this board. For example, is it at all practical to stay in Logrono or something, and get there in time to run/watch/etc...

The park dude. Everyone sleeps on the streets. If you stay outside of pamplona it can be difficult to get a place on a train in so if you do decide that you wont want to sleep in the parks (which btw I think is a huge part of the experience) make sure you book well in advance! I wouldn't reccomend staying for a long period of time though. There is only so much of the filth that a person can take. just make sure you bring lots of layers to wear and perhaps a small blanket. It can get miiiiiighty cold at night! Good luck!

Hey dude I've booked the '5 Day One-Way Tour' at http://www.backpacker.co.uk/pamplona.htm It was 209 pounds (I scammed it for 189 though) and seems like value to me. The accomodation is in pre-errected tents in a self sufficient camp site approximately 25 minutes from Pamps and they shuttle you back and forth. There is an option for just accomodation also an option for cabins.
Excuse the rambling it's been a long day. But check it out and let me know what you thing

It took around 24 hours. I only booked two days ago so I reckon you'll be right.
