Hi all,
Am off to Italy for a couple of weeks with my boyfrined,and we're trying to do it as cheap as we can. We booked all our hostels, etc. However, one problem remains, we're only spending one day (our last day)in Milan as our plan leaves from there. Milan hostels were WICKED expensive, so we decided to take the latest possible bus or train from Venice to Milan and just walk around all night and day until its time to catch our flight. My questions is, if we happen to arrive at like 2 am or something, does anybody know of anywhere we can go for those wee hours until the museums open up? Is there a 24 hour coffee shop or something that anybody knows about? Or is there a park or something with cool statues or maybe some spot with a great view of the sunrise? Is the city wary of people wandering around with huge travel packs so early in the morning? Thanks a bunch guys!

the hotel we stayed at was £40 per night for 2 and was clean and comfortable.

To be honest there isnt much to do in Milan at that time well not that i found anyway and the museums open pretty late, If i was you i would definately try and book somewhere...
Milan is incredibly expensive but a fab city. When i get home i will try and find the mane of the most amazing fish restaurant i have been to in my life it's definately worth a visit
