I am planning to include Greece (Creete & Cyprus) on my mega-Europe tour, and since they have so many islands and what not, I was curious if anyone who has been there could suggest perhaps their favorite places. I am mostly looking for historical places and scenic places. Of course, also my favorite thing, any good food suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Want something a little off the beaten path in Greece? The monasteries at Meteora. They are in northern Greece, and are built on these huge limestone crags. They are from the Medieval times, and fit the bill as scenic and historic.
Let's see if I can add a photo of them from my web site...
Greece, is of course, full of history. While there, I also enjoyed Crete and Athens.
Cyprus...mmm, I've been wanting to go there a long time...
