Im not sure if i want to put it on my itenary unless its amazing...i only have 3 weeks instead of a month now so my traveling will be time cramped.

Ok here is the first time i will ever post this and possibly the last so listen well.
I am of the mindset that it's better to stay 21 days in one place than spend a day in 21 places. Follow? When I go to Prague I plan on spending a month in the czech republic. And I have heard the place is amazing. I've also been told that it's the european equivelant of hollywood. So hollywood meets a-dam can't be all bad!!! |
well i hear ya...i wasnt planning on going to a ton of places...Ill probably spend a week in each place i go...so thats 3 places...wish i had more time...so prague is real glamerous?

Hi Jennika,
I myself haven't been to Prague yet, but elsewhere in Eastern Europe and the whole spirit of this area is worth getting to know. As for Prague itself, as you heard, it is at the moment a very popular destination, which means it will (if not yet) become soon artificial and touristy ! Go now, when it is still Czech like, not fully westernized. If you have only three weeks to travel, I too would advise to keep it to two or three countries at the most. There are plenty of threads on Eastern Europe/Prague in the «Where ya all going ?» forum. Have fun ! |
thanks

Hey Jennika,
I went to Prague and found it really cramped in the summer. It was really pretty and awesome, but some of the surrounding areas just took my breath away. Cesky krumlov was truly awesome, although it's a small medieval town. Lots of entertainment and I never went to bed early. Prague is probably more your style if you're looking for something slicker and urban. Outside though you'll find really friendly people and hospitible nights!! Jenn |
I loved Prague I wasn't there during peek season but it was full of tourists. It really felt like an International City because of that.
Wacky backy is semi legal there in such a way as you can smoke in pubs resturants or whereever you like. Just don't for the love of God buy of the streets they'll sell you tar no matter how careful you think your being. Just ask in your hostel and they'll send around for your freindly neighbourhood drug dealer. Prague looks amazing every single building seems to be something spectacular and now that ye mention it there where alkot of film crews all over the place what was that about? |
Oh and go to Cesky if you can, it's class.
