i've got a question about tobacco. i am an american about to go to spain. are there any rules against bringing your own cigars/cigarettes to another country? or is it just part of the travel experience to try the indigenous tabacco products?

Smoking's bad, mmmmkay?
It depends on the country you're entering but I'm pretty sure you're allowed to bring in at least one or two packs of cigarettes. Dunno. Not a smoker. But if I was I'd probably be more interested in trying the indigenous flavors. |

You can take one carton of cigarettes (200 cigarettes) with you.
But if you smoke major US brands (Marlboro, Camel, etc.) they're widely available in Europe. Also, in Spain they're DIRT CHEAP (under 2€ a pack, at least last summer). |
