I am travelling to Japan and have been looking for travel partners (people to go with) for sometime. Either they don't have enough money or need to take summer classes or work. Here is a rough itinerary of my travels:

Can't help you with company, but if you have time, consider heading up north (you can take the shinkansen to Aomori, now, I believe) to go back in time and see quite a different side to Japan - the rural, mountainous, countryside. Beautiful.
