Ooook... so.. I work on Mackinac Island in Northern Michigan in the summer. This year I will be waiting tables at The Seabiscuit Cafe (which is a bar not a cafe..). But I dont start there until May 2nd. I want to leave my shitty job here in current location of Florida before St. Pat's because it's a sacred holiday of drunkeness and pride and such and this city has no soul.

I'm tooling around waiting to get my last W2 so I can do my taxes. And I'm supposed to get about a thousand back. I make on average around 450+ every two weeks plus tips.

I look online at orbitz on a whim and found relatively cheap plane tickets to Ireland. This sparks me really looking all over for even cheaper tickets. That Irish airlien Aersomething or another (I forgot at the moment) is having some cheap flight deal that ends at the end of Febuary. I would want to leave Febuary 28th so I can get the cheap tickets.

Anyone want to go backpack around Ireland for a month with me? I'm going to try to apply for a passport on monday when I get paid and pay for a rush on it so it might get here in time.

I've never done this before. No experience over seas. Just sounds like a fun adventure.

Anyone? I'm cute, and I can damn near charm my way out of any sort of mishaps we could get into as forgieners. Plus I'm geeky so I've got the brains to boot. I just dont know my way around Ireland. I have a penpal in that works for the Shannon airport so I would probably like to fly in there since it would give me a chance to meet up with him. But I'm negotiable.

Lemme know if anyone is interested.

it's so very tempting...
i just recently was in ireland, but only for a very short 2 1/2 days.
if you're cute & charming as you say, then you should have no problem finding a travel partner. i feel i must play big brother though, and just give you a friendly warning to be careful of the guys you meet out there.

You already have the gift of the gab then, you won't have to hang of that castle and kiss the stone.

I'll be backpacking in Ireland from a fixed location around that time, minus the traveling and the backpack.

You should head down to the Killarny meetup.

OOOHH, i plan on flying into Dublin around the first week ov March. Not sure what to do exactly. i´ll be travelling by myself, from Reykjavik and onward. Hopefully i will stay for a month or two. So if your interested, let me know. i may need someone to talk me out ov the mishaps i find myself in. I do have some travel experience, so maybe we could trade.
