Well my travel companion is going over to London for the week and as of Saturday 17th I will be all alone, I just cant justify the cost of getting there and the exchange rate, cost of living etc. etc. in London.... But where is a loner to go ????
I have to be in Paris on the 24th for the finish of the Tour De France and my flight to Denmark that night. Maybe Switzerland (expensive -yes), Maybe Southern France.. Not sure... Huge change to the itenerary.. But that is what traveling is about - flexability. I will be living on about 70euros maybe a tad more / or less per day... Any partners , suggestions etc would be great Cheers |
Go to interlaken or lauternbrunnen in switzerland, and a day or two in nice first if your still wanting more sun. Switzerland was pretty much the same as the aussie dollar, and things werent sooo expensive, unless you plan on going to maccas, ha.
But yeah, hit up switzerland for sure, and its (in a round about kinda way) on the way to paris... Good luck.. Leeroy |
go to Innsbruck, Austria....there is a free guided hiking program to anyone staying in the village (includes hostels)....the town is pretty cheap for being an olympic village sitting on a river between the alps....plus the hostels are 10 and 15 euros.....if you can stay at the fritz prior hostel (call ahead a couple of days)....you will love innsbruck
