And that makes four! OK, so the four of us will meet in Toulouse sometime the afternoon of the 6th, drive to Pamplona, and set up "T-Punk Headquarters Spain!" Then we'll meet other T-punks on the evening of the 7th to prepare for the bovine marathon!

So far, in the car, we have (would you please PM me your e-mails so I can get in touch with you from Europe?):

Me (Robert)
Tecia
Somnambulation
Cali_girl

And meeting in Pamplona:

Chickie (I'm sorry, Cali asked first!)
Ashpunk
SovietSurfer
Manov
urOZm8

Any other takers?

i've looked all over for hostels/pensions in pamplona and nearby pueblos. but i've heard and read in several travel books that camping is the thing to do. pamplona gets so packed that they can't accomodate everyone, so lots of tourists just pass out in parks around town.

you're probably already planning on it, but... make sure you have a sleeping bag!

Actually, I've read that many hostels will not let you use your own sleeping bag. Anyone know if that is true or not? I wasn't planning on bringing a sleeping bag just because of the extra bulk and weight. I wonder how cold it gets in Spain?

that's wierd. i've never heard that. should be pretty warm in spain in july!!

you can always buy a bag when you get there. or buy a cheapie and take a compression bag.

personally, i don't travel anywhere without a bag...

Good on you guys for taking the initiative in organising such a gala event!! Especially to iamlindoro for offering rides to those other t-punkers!

So how is the Rest. Erburu? Gotta have a landmark place but one that is not too overrun by other travellers so we can recognise each other...

That link you provided iamlindoro is cool. I lost it when I read:

My email is everton_rulz@yahoo.com I leave on March 17th so my internet access will be limited after that, so keep me in the loop!

somnambulation - or maybe you'll get lucky and sneak your way into someone else's bag... not saying necessarily that it would be mine, just laying out all your options...

already looking forward to the giant meet-and-greet!!
