Western Europe in Early Spring 2007

I know this is early but, I will be going to Western Europe(Austria,Germany,Italy,Amsterdam and maybe Belgium) in late march or early April for 2 or 3 months and wondering if there anybody on planning on doing the same, maybe we can meet up and have a few beers at the bar.

I will be starting in UK/Ireland/Scotland in mid April and from there going all over Europe and maybe down to Morrocco as well.... Would love to meet up with any other fellow T Punkers!

I'm going to be leaving to Europe on February 17th until April 23rd in 2007. I'm landing in Paris and thinking about doing Italy, Amsterdam, Prague, Belgium, and maybe Czech and Bulgaria.

mmmmmm beers!! my girlfriend and i will also be departing for europe on march 29. we begin our trip in paris and have purchased our 3 month rail passes. getting some beers sound like a fun thing especially since we dont know anyone out there. whats your itinerary look like?

My boyfriend and I will be in Europe in April and are staying for a couple months. We are really behind on planning so I don't know when we will be in each country, but we are starting in Spain.

If you swing by pisa I will be in town in mid-March. I live there but will be traveling before and after but got no problem letting you know where some decent night life is (for some reason italian bars and clubs are always hidden away in a back alley some where)

Salzburg --> Vienna
2 weeks in Vienna

March 27th
Vienna --> Venice
2 days in Venice

March 29th
Venice --> Florence
3 days in Florence

April 1st
Florence --> Rome
7 days in Rome

April 8th
Rome --> Rimini
3 days in Rimini

April 11th
Rimini --> Bolgna
2 days in Blogna

April 13th
Bolgna --> Nurenburg
3 days in Nurenburg

April 16th
Nurenburg --> Berlin
7 days in Berlin

April 23rd
Berlin --> Dusseldorf
2 days in Dusseldorf

April 25th
Dusseldorf --> Brussels
4 days in Brussels

I have not finished the last 23 days of my itinerary, If you guys could help that would be great.

Mike,

Have you considered Spain? You can stretch your money out there a bit more than in Germany (though not as well as Eastern Europe) and you can see a lot of variety.

Also, 2 weeks in Vienna seems like a lot unless you have family/friends there. I think 3-4 days is probably enough, maybe an even week if you want to make a side trip or two to Bratislava (about an hour away by train). Prague isn't too far, and neither is Budapest.

Let me recommend that you hang out around Schoenbrunn palace because they hold concerts there, weekly? I ended up catching a Mozart/Strauss concert in the Grand Hall (though I think those are more rare, once a month or thereabouts). The Wombat has two hostels and judging from their Munich city and Vienna city locations I am sure the Lounge is great also.

My and my fiancee plan on being in Benelux, Germany, Austria, and Italy towards the end of May through June. Would love to meet up with any Tpunks while there! We plan on hitting Amsterdam, Brussels, Berlin, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Florence, and maybe a quick fly-over to Dublin to name a few.
