Sounds good. Take a look at this site, it gives a pretty good rundown on the whole running of the bulls experience. There are some great pictures on the gallery too.

I honestly have no idea when I will be there. I plan on arriving in London around the 20th or so of June and then making my way south to Spain through Holland and France. It would be nice to be there on the first day though, the 7th, that way I can stay as long as I like if I'm having a great time. Mabye you guys would want to meet up beforehand and then travel in together? Meeting there in Pamplona might be kind of tough with all the crowds.

Hey, Somanmbulation I will be flying into Dublin on the 20th of June so if you would like to meet around there and then travel down to Spain together that would be great. I have a few friends that may be traveling with me and I have family in Germany but I am leaving my entire trip open so if you want to meet let me know.

Well I know I want to be there for the start of the running. So at least the 6th/7th...and I think I'm going to fly directly in to spain, then I leave on the 9th and end in italy on the 21st staying with friends/family until the 28th. Wooh.. that was a fun run down. From there all I need to do is end up in England... so plans are still open for Aug.

So sleeping in the park would mean that I need a sleeping bag?... huh? hmmmm..... like I said before I'll drink myself warm

Share the wealth!

Actually im starting with the northern countries first (mid may) and then working south then west then north again... planning on being back in london by august.

Im now thinking of saving spain/portugal for spring '05, after 6 months working in uk. Just to take the edge of the Rush around europe. Then after that, another 6months work, then off to CANADA/STATES/MEXICO... Oooooh la la...

When/where are you guys all meeting up for the running of the bulls? This is going to be my second time in Europe, but first in Spain and I'm traveling alone again, so it would be cool to meet up with some people.

Ive thought and thought about this, and now have decided to leave spain/portugal out of my travels this summer, and catch up there the following summer, probably just flying straight from london to barcelona. that way i dont have to rush my adventure this summer. 3 months seems a long time, but when you want to expericence scandianvia (im convinced that scandinavia is a bitch to plan logistically), western europe and a few islands.

Anyrate...

I'll be starting in Paris May 20th, then doing a big circle around Spain and Portugal, until July 14! Ending with the fiesta of San Fermin (running of the bulls). Already posted on that thread but thought I'd post here too. It's my 21st tomorrow, yay for that. Sorry, couldn't resist when I saw that smiley...hehe

What uppers! going to Europe for the first time this summer and looking for some people doing the same. My tenative plans are for July 22 - Aug 3 but I am flexible. I definitely have a place for a few to stay in Southern France (Carcassone) until Aug 15, but I am wanting to see Amsterdam, Germany, or wherever. Looking into Eurail passes.

Anyone going to be around?

WELCOME been there too!!!!

You're going to just miss the running of the bulls, but you'll have an amazing time! Wish I could meet up with you but there are tons of people heading to Europe this summer, so I'm sure you can make plans with them!!

welcome LndeLou!! That's awesome that you're going to make it to Pamplona. I am so jealous of you living in Dublin! How long are you there for...working/studying? I lived there for (sniff) only 2 months in 2002, and LOVED every second of it! I want to get back, but unfortunately, haven't gotten to yet. Especially b/c I am now single and LOVED the Irish guys but had a b/f at the time...hehe
