I'll be done with mine in December... 'course, between shipping time & cost to Ireland, you could probably transcribe a copy by hand and it'd be easier.

dont they come out with new editions of the lonely planet every year? if so you would be better off just picking up a new one.

True, true... oh, and the Australian edition is bigger than a Bible. They also have editions that are broken down by state/region, if you're not going to cover the whole country.

Did you try looking on Amazon.co.uk for a used copy? I know they have an East Coast version and an entire continent version. Which is better depends on if your going to the West coast and the outback I guess.

I can be so blonde at times, also i posted at 4am after a bottle of red wine so no wonder i hadn't thought of the expense to ship it!!, it will be cheaper to buy a new copy of amazon

How often do new versions come out? I don't want to find out that there's a new one due in a month right after I buy one. I need Thailand.

I was amazed at how many lonley planet books there were at a used book shop near where I live, and its a small town. try the used book shop, prob sheapest and easiest way to find what your looking for, not to mention maybe something else for you to read.
