Has anyone been to the Viva Spanish School in Managua, Nicaragua? If so, did you stay at the hotel associated with the school? If so, what did you think of it?
Does anyone want to travel to this school for a week this November or December? I really want to attend, but I do not want to travel alone.

I lived in Nicaragua for 7 months... I would absolutely not suggest going to school in Managua... One its dangerous, two its dangerous, three its dangerous, and there are far nicer places with spanish schools... I would suggest Granada or Laguna de Apoya as two starting points to look at schools, they are both only an hr south of Managua and much safer and just all around better... You could also go to school in San Juan del Sur on the beach....
Trust me about Managua, I know after living there for so long...

Oh and btw, dont stay in a hotel or hostel... Do a homestay with a local family... Amazing experience, room and 3 meals a day and surrounded by spanish.... Only around $125 per week....
