Belize!
 

I'm going next week ... bought a ticket last minute.. I cannot tell you how excited I am :D .. I've heard its beautiful and easy to get around. My friends have given me a couple tips.... anyone else?

I don't have any advice but Belize looks awesome!

It is beautiful. I lived there for awhile, and these would be my top suggestions of places to go:

Caye Cauker - an island off the coast, great place to relax on the beach with small town feel. Snorkeling or scuba diving on the reef.

Mayan Temples: Caracol and Xunantunich are the best.

Hopkins - great little Garikuna town on the beach.

Orange Walk - Great town surrounded by rain forest and mayan sites.

Also, make sure to go out into the rain forest, especially near the border of Guatemala. Go to the National Parks, Blue Hole National Park and Guanacaste National especially.
