I am planning a trip to Canada in July from my home in San Diego, CA. I was hoping to hit some indie music venues accross the country, and maybe see some indie festivals. A huge fan of Broken Social Scene, and friends as well, if they usually play somewhere in the summer time? Any info would be appreciated.

In Toronto I think the best resorce for Indie Bands are NOW Indepenent News Paper and EYE

These are to pretty large local papers, and the music coverage is great, these are like the anti main stream media out lets in the city, great perspective on life in Toronto!!
