Default Off to Edisto Island Camping

So, Roxy and I are leaving tomorrow morning for Edisto Island. We have been going there for 7 years. Probably our 25th time or so. Anyway, Its the smallest little Island. One Grocery store, one gas station. But it has a state park right on the beach. We always get the same sight right on the beach. Edisto is between Charleston, SC and Kiawa. I love this beach because you can walk out onto the beach, look left, look right, see maybe 5 people... Smoking J's is easy, and it is QUITE. Only the ocean do you hear. So anyway, we will be there 3 days, sadly, it may be our last time for a while, as we are moving to the west coast soon. We even got engaged at this beach. So ramble..... Heres a couple pics of the campsight and the beach.

That place looks beautiful and quiet. What a nice place to get away too.

Yeah, we had a wonderful time. Sadly it will be our last time for who knows how long as we are moving to the west coast soon. It kinda had that feeling to it, and was quite spiritual too. Roxy and I have 7 years of life going to that place. So yeah! Heres a nice pic from our campsite

Marc that looks wonderful. I think nothing beats sleeping under the stars. And that's so romantic that you guys got engaged there. I think you to are such a cool couple, traveling around and what not.

So when are you guys headed out here to the fabulous west coast?

Ahh when!! Well if our house sells quickly like its supposed to, we list Feb 1stish, we hope to be on the way to eastern europe April 1st, 2 months, so we should hit Cali early June. Nothing like 2 months on the road to return and drive 8-10 days cross country. It should be quite interesting. Pacific Beach, San Diego is the destination. Hope you are still around, if not traveling of course

I'm not sure if I will be in Cali this time around, but I've decided to set up home base here (and in Oklahoma). So between trips I will be in Cali. One of my really good friends is moving down there so I will for sure drop in on you guys and have a drink.
