I know its probley been asked a 100 times but what kind of pack does everyone own? I'm looking into getting one.. so if you have a link to it or prices even better..

The only problem I have with it is that it's a top-loader, but it's got plenty of separate compartments for that not to be TOO much of a bitch. Oh, that and there are straps all over the place if you don't fill it up, so you worry about it getting stuck in conveyer belts or whatnot, but I haven't had that happen yet.

There's a newer version called the Rockies II - this line is a great value, but I don't think it's jaw-droppingly awesome or anything, either.

Not sure what you want to spend, but I bought an Eagle Creek New World Journey about 6 months ago for $169. Its a travel pack, so it zips down the side. It also has a cover that zips over the straps for plane travel. Its got a zip off daypack, separate sleeping bag compartment. It works great. I think it has been discontinued though, here is a link to some other Eagle Creek travel packs:

It definately pays to shop around the web - big variations in prices on close out models and such.

its a Columbia and i know they make good gear... but does it have enough space? everyhting I will need?
