Hello I am going away on my first trip to europe its going to be 59 days long from july 8th to september 5th this summer and i have been looking at all different kinds of packs and this one has caught my eye outbound Nomad now im still wondering about the size 65L or 75 L and also if anyone has ever used the outbound backpacks befor what is the quality like?

My best advice is to make sure that the pack you buy, either has a detachable day pack, or the space to store a day pack. When traveling for that long, you are going to want to secure your pack in your room, but also have an option for day trips and touring. I own an eagle creek pack that has a detachable day pack. Best thing I ever purchased as a traveler. I unzip the daypack and cruise out the door with everything I need, except the HEAVY pack. Have a good adventure!!!

Have no experience with this brand, and personally it looks a bit luggagey...

Look for something that has the detachable daypack as mentioned above, and also that has a good backpacking interior frame.

It does have a day pack and it all seems ok but i was just wondering about how you think it might hold up material wise.
as a backpack it looks good you can addjust the shoulders and the hip belt seperatly and they are both padded quite well

Its really hard having never seen the pack myself. I would search for online reviews of the pack. Otherwise go with a pack that is more well known. Hope that helps.

I've used an Outbound wayfarer (70l) and loved it. Actually, the only thing preventing me from buying the latest version (I borrowed my brother's for my last trip -- and now he's using it) is that top access to the bag doesn't seem to be securable. It's just got a draw string at the top, with zippered side access as well.

After much deliberation I bought an Outbound Tallaroo 65L... Seems to be very similar to the one in your link, but I can't yet comment as I haven't used it yet! (Leave next tuesday).
I was very strongly considering an Asolo ~50L bag for the size, but for some reason it just didn't fit right.. the backpad seemed to jab into my back.

But man, if I could figure out some way to secure the top of that Wayfarer, I'd buy it in a second. Not sure if you're in Canada or not, but it seems here that both the Asolos and Outbounds are quite good quality packs for the price.
