Well, I'm both a Merrell and Teva fanboy, so I'm of no use to you. Got tons of mileage out of both in CR in January, and apart from the massive blisters on the backs of my heels from climbing that goddamned mountain :D, no complaints.
I've heard good things about Chacos, but until my Tevas fall apart, no reason to throw good money at 'em...

Chacos may be perfect for YOUR ginormous tree stumps, Jake, but they just didn't work for me.

LOL-- well, good thing I don't share that sentiment then, huh? (Besides the fact that I don't care, I mean...)
