So my friends introduced me to this gear shop in San Francisco called Triple Aught Design. Besides selling their favorite travel/adventure gear, they also have their own designs, which I think are pretty snazzy - if only a little pricey. So if you feel like splurging, this might be a good place to check out:

Also, they carry this funky but functional line of stuff from Civilian Lab that I'm really digging. I got one of their Rewind "lossless" wallets, which I think will be kick-ass for traveling.

Sweet stuff! I'm really liking that wallet. There's a store here right next to the REI flagship called Feathered Friends which caters to very, very serious mountain expeditioners [read: people that sneer at REI, lol]. Lots of high-end drool-worthy gear. And even weirder is right next door to that is a Play It Again Sports.

I'm not sure why it's called Feathered Friends though.
