I would advise caution when using gear-zone.
I had a bad experience just recently.
Firstly they recieved the wrong payment details by mistake (my fault I admit). But when the payment didn't go through they did not contact me to see what was happening instead it took a phone call 4 days from me to see what was wrong their end. The above was partially my fault I admit, still that highlighted a small problem in the whole order process when I wasn't contacted at all.
As I was soon travelling I could not afford another hold up with the MAX of 5 days delivery time. Spoke to one guy, he told me that it would be sent that night should recieve Wednesday. Also recieved an email that said the items had already been sent, might arrive Tuesday. So which was correct?
2 days later (Tuesday) phoned up again just to check that the item had shipped, no it hadn't it turns out, it would be sent out tonight. So now I was cutting it really close.
Another day later I phone up and apparently it had shipped and delivery had been attempted a few hours earlier. How was this possible, I was home the whole time and no one had come at all. Alarm bells were going off at this point, I thought I may have been had.
Next day with quite a few phone calls found out the courier company and yes it should arrive today (Thursday now). I should already be on the bus for my holiday, another days delay. It arrived at 4 PM, finally.
Got the package inside opened it up and the final insult hit, I had ordered two items and only one of them had been sent. Yet I had been charged for two. REALLY PISSED OFF at this point.
So thats was my experience, yours may be better, but take care, don't expect anything to happen quickly. And check you package to make sure everything is their. I was most anoyed because the number of phone calls I made to get things fixed cost like 6 pounds and the amount of my time wasted would have cost me more than the items I ordered.
