So what is a good walking shoe, but is also acceptable to go out to clubs or bars in?

Depends on what your stylee is. I wore my Vans in Europe and never had a problem with them. If you want something with more support check out a pair or cross trainers.

I have a Brown pair of North Face Hiking Shoes and it is probably the best 100$ investment I ever made they are so very comfortable and they pretty nice looking as well.
