I'm new to the site and I need some help. My BF & I are going to Spain for 10 days. We leave in 8 days and I still need to get some essentials for the trip. Can someone please tell me where I can buy a money belt, travel towel and pillow pack (preferably at one store)? Also, this is my first trip, so I'm not sure how much I should pack. We're just bringing one large backpack and a smaller backpack for day trips, and I'm notorious for overpacking. We're heading to Madrid, Barcelona & Seville and plan on doing everything from the beach to museums to clubs.
PLEASE HELP ME

I don't know where you can buy the stuff you need, sorry. If you don't have any stores locally that you know of try to get it online and expressed delivered.

As for packing I suggest 1 bathing suit, 2 pants/skirts (style in Spain is more long flowing skirts than short ones) and a dress/club clothes. Bring some of those laundry tablets (Tide has some). I washed my clothes in the sink/bath tub using those tablets. Clothes end up a itchy but it does its job. I don't know how willing you are to give up comforts for saving pack room.

Also some museums in Spain don't let people with bookbags in (ie Prado). FYI.

If you feel uncomfortable wearing the same clothes during the stay just remember that everyone you meet doesn't know that you've been wearing the same thing for a few days. Also khakis are easier to air dry than jeans.

Hope this helps.

My first trip to Europe was two weeks and I had like the hugest suitcase imaginable, plus another smaller one. Never regretted it though. We weren't really backpacking, we were just touring.

I don't know of any stores to pick up the travel stuff from - perhaps try Target or Kohls or something like that.

Otherwise, you can order online:

Travel Animal is just one. Don't know about expedited shipping, but most places offer it.

What blinkchick said about clothes, then comfy walking shoes plus a pair of nice shoes for the clubs and what not. Might wanna bring sunscreen too.
