Well, I guess there wasn't as much selection at this time of the year in winnipeg as I thought, but I found a pack I'm happy with. My sister picked some out for us since we're twins and the same size. Not much to choose from for 5'1" girls so this one was actually quite comfy and cheap- an inexpensive day pack can easily be attached to the back of this one as well. Top loader but it has side access. My sister claimed the blue one though, I get stuck with army green. :(
Anybody else ever use this pack? MEC Brio 70 Backpack |

Sorry nobody's gotten back. KingCrazyLegs is our resident gear guru and he's out of town apparently ;)
But from what I see from the link, looks good. Things I always suggest: make sure it fits you well and you do a test pack within the return period! Hate to find out its not the right fit in the middle of a trip! |
That is a nice pack!! Looks like it's the right size and hape for a girl, and it's great that it doesn't have all those strappy things most bags do, it makes it easier to send it with the lugagge at the aiport.
And I like the green one better!! More outdoorsy (hehe that gives away my military bratness!! jaja) |
