hey people,
ok, i got my working visa for australia, but i have been reading various things about how i will be taxed for my work there... i know i need ot get a tax file numebr when i get there, right? how much will i be taxed? are there any ways to avoid be taxed too much? i don't really understand all this tax stuff in my own country , let alone in a foreign country!

Yeah I hear ya I'm stupid with tax in my own country as well. and I was never good at math so it's never a good combo..This site has some good info on jobs and tax

we'r not sure yet what kind of work we'll do.. i guess anything short-term that we can find! we're not going down as far as victoria unfortunately : (
