As planned, I now have a plane ticket to Singapore for my 2 week backpacking trip this May. Good thing I was allowed to have a vacation leave from work. I'm a budget traveller and definitely new to this. I need help for my itinerary so I could plan and save my money.

I want to work my way to Johor Bahur, Malaysia then to Kuala Lumpur?How long and how much the bus travel costs would be.

Is it possible to cross Thailand as well like a bus travel? How many hours would it take and what would be the travel costs?

If then from Thailand, I also want to check if I could go to other neighboring countries like Cambodia-Vietnam-Laos?

My problem is that I have a 2 way plane ticket from Singapore, so I still have to go back all the way to Singapore to return to Philippines. Will it be practical or expensive to go back again to my point of origin?

I could have started in Thailand but too late now, I alreay have a nonrefundable ticket.

Your response would be highly appreciated.

Im sorry I answered my own post, yeah I found a way to refund the ticket from singapore and I'll book a flight from Thailand going back to Philippines.

So problem solved with that.

I just need help geeting around Thailand-Cambodia-Vietnam-Laos

Travel costs, how long should i stay in each countries, must see? Any Tips?

Don't quote me on this, but 2 weeks to get around those four countries plus Thailand and the Philippines seems very ambitious to me.

If you are intent on getting to all those countries try over night trains. I would recommend concentrating on or two countries for the two weeks so you can get a proper feel for them. That's just me though
