Hi, I'm a Dutch student carrying out a research on backpacking. If you've ever been backpacking 4 weeks or more, I would really appreciate it if you could cooperate in my research by filling out 20 questions by e-mail. Thank you!! Veerle, v_leenhouts@yahoo.com

No Worries Been Backpacking it Around the World Since 72
No Worries, first stuck my thumb out the summer after high school in 1972 and have been living and loving an adventurous life ever since. From 99 to 200o we took our daughter out of school, organized a homeschool program with California public schools and backpacked around the world as a family of three. I LOVE traveling but have a very comfortable life here in the Philippines so prefer going on 2 to 3+ month long trips now.bill_lorna@yahoo.com

Thanks Joey DAAAA I need to WAKEUP or...
as the saying comes to mind "am I just stoned or just stupid ?" Thanks Joey didn't notice the date. Yes when I was climbing the stairs at my daughter's middle school's "open House" surrounded by middleclass American suburbanites in Santa Cruz, CA I heard a silent chant inside my head, "we gotta get OUT of here". So i researched educational choices for our daughter and found that we could homeschool her by sending back monthly school work to Santa Cruz and that the BEST, top ten public schools were in New England and the Midwest, my home state of Iowa and Maine taking turns being # 1 in the nation.
