headin out in December, i have 4 weeks, i am wondering if that is enough time to see the highlights of these 3 countries, naturally i want more time but please give some suggestions people. i am drunk as hell and i am proud of you all for travelling, we all learn so much from travelling, keep it up everyone!!!!!

With four weeks I made it from north to south vietnam, across cambodia and to bangkok. Definitely wish I had had more time to spend in Cambodia, and didn't see anything besides BKK in thailand, so I'd recommend spending more time if you have it, or just focusing on two countries.

thanks, i am leaving in two weeks. i do not have anything set so i think i will just go wherever for however long i like. i am starting to think all 3 in a month would be too much. thanks for your input. Anyone goin to be there from December to january 2007-2008?

I agree, at least 10 days per country, or stick to one area in each one. Tranportation is a problem, either they stop every where or they don't leave often enough, especially in Thailand and Camobodia. Tuk-tuk drivers start when they want (true!) and do not advise you when they do. So, you can sit in this tiny truck for one or two hours before heading to your destination !
