I am looking to backpack around the world later this year, I want to spend a month or two in Indonesia followed by Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam before heading onto England (will have working holiday visa). so about 6-7 months total in SEA. however seems like every SEA country has this onward ticket policy in there visa requirements, even when entering from land. i was thinking of leaving Australia from Darwin to Kupang (Indonesia) with a return flight that i would just chuck away (before i realized that everyone country not just indo has that requirement)
Im just after any for advise on how to handle the visa for each SEA country that requires a onward ticked? If i got a around the world ticket that say stopped over in Singapore could i use that as my onward ticketed for both Indonesia and Thailand, when crossing land boarders or do i need to have a onward ticked leaving from each country i want to visit?
I was hoping it would all be a bit easier than this.
Any help would be great.
Cheers :D
