Default thai cozy house, bangkok

i stayed here for 5 nights while in bangkok.

if you're interested in booking a room in the khao san area, there are literally tons of rooms for rent in this neighbourhood, ranging from (i'm pretty sure) the cheap sleazy singles all the way to the very comfy rooms.

judging from some people i've talked to in this neighborhood, most were very happy about their accomdations.

what i like about thai cozy house is their cleanliness and location. for a single room ensuite - with your own bathroom - (and with air cond, a color tv & fridge too) i paid 600 bahts.
it's located just minutes from khaosan rd, so it's off the main strip but yet still within the hustle and bustle.
the room and corridors are bright and the staff super friendly and helpful.

although the walls of the guestrooms are thin, the whole building is shielded from road and traffic noise, so it makes for a very quiet room.
and that's a plus for me -

web service downstairs, next to the breakfast room. atm machine just outside. and a postbox around the corner.

i really enjoyed my stay there. would definitely stay there again. the staff people were great. miss u all!

there's an interesting hotel that's just opened on Kho San road called Rikka Inn
http://www.bonhighheels.com/site/pag...ra=Rikka%20Inn

but you're spoilt for choice when you hit bkk...Many a time i've wandered the streets weighted down with a rucksack trying to find the best deal. If you want to plan ahead then perhaps try http://www.travelsupermarket.com/tra...aspx?package=5 if you're from the uk that is.

i prefer to just go with the flow and to sort acommodation when I arrive...it's way more interesting that way

Did you pay the 600 bahts for the 5 days you stayed?
