whats the rest of the trip like in the phillipines ??
i.e. bar scene, beach scene ??? is there a lot of hustlers trying to roll you ???
my phillipino friend told me to head to managua ..
any tips on a trip there??

wow, this is a very quiet thread..

the beach scene in the Philippines is pretty happening. beaches always get overcrowded during the holidays, especially summer. so unless you want to wade through a big crowd, i suggest you go during off season.

We always recommend going to our beaches in the Philippines. Like Boracay and Palawan.

I would suggest you go to Honda Bay Island in Palawan. Not too crowded and each island at Honda Bay offers different enchanment; Snake Island is best for snorkeling, swimming or simply basking in the sand. Pandan Island, Starfish Island and Pambato Reef are all great for swimming and snorkeling.
